The Government of Panama reported that it has decided to allow those migrants who entered the country irregularly through the Darién jungle to return to Venezuela through the Tocumén International Airport.

The information was revealed by the political leader Fabiola Zavarce, in Panama.

Zavarce pointed out that the measure applies to those who crossed the Darién irregularly, so now they can return by presenting their identity card without any additional requirements.

“All Venezuelans who entered through the Darién can leave Panama through the Tocumén International Airport with a plane ticket. Those who have a laminated identity card do not require a safe-conduct,” he tweeted.
