Migros sells Valais apricots for twice as much as it buys them

Valais apricots. Like raclette, they are a registered trademark of the Alpine canton, which concentrates 97% of the national production of this fleshy and prized fruit, whose season is coming to an end. To taste them as a tart, jam or simply plain, everything rests on the shoulders of some 136 producers established in the Rhône Valley, whose orchards are located between Sierre and Vernayaz. Everything also rests on the distribution giants, such as Migros and Coop.
