Mikati greets the Lebanese.. and this is his wish

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati sent greetings to the Lebanese, saying: “God willing, he will return to the Lebanese people better days, and they will be more happiness, peace of mind, and prosperity, and that he will perpetuate health.”

And he said via “Free Lebanon”: “I dedicate to the Lebanese the gift that I give myself every day, which is hope, without which I would not have continued with my mission.”

Mikati continued: “God willing, we will elect a president of the republic in the first months of next year, and the constitutional situation will be straightened, so that we can all advance the homeland.”

He added, “My wish is to choose a new president of the republic, whoever he is, to elect him, and to form a government as soon as possible to carry out the tasks required of it.”

Mikati pointed out that “the time is difficult, and assignment is a burden on the back of every official.”

In response to a question whether he refuses to call it a consultation, Mikati replied: “I wish the best for me and others.”
