In Sacramento they have officially started their search process for a new head coach. The position became vacant a little less than two weeks after the franchise transferred Alvin Gentry who would no longer be in charge of the bench.

The list of candidates is numerous, as journalists Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania have reported, although both have revealed some of the names that have already been cited for the first interviews, with prior permission from the franchises for which they currently work.

Charania has noted that the Kings have scheduled a meeting with Mike D’Antoni and Mark Jackson. For his part, Woj has revealed that the Californians will also interview Mike Brown (assistant at Golden State), Steve Clifford (consultant in Brooklyn), Will Hardy (assistant at Boston) and Darvin Ham and Charles Lee (assistant at Milwaukee).

The Kings management assured that they will approach the selection process thoroughly and thoroughly before making the final decision after so many years of misfortune. For his part, Domantas Sabonis shared his complete willingness to get involved in this process.

In the offices they will not make changes in the locker room until it is decided who will be the new head coachbut general manager Monte McNair noted that adding players with wingspan and outside shooting is at the top of the offseason to-do list.
