It is no mystery to anyone that Mike Tyson is a loquillo. It was inside and also outside the ringbut he himself has recognized it in hundreds of interviews throughout his life.
For the sake of it, it is not surprising a particular anecdote revealed in recent days by Bobby Brown, ex-partner of Withney Houston and close friend of the famous boxer.
The artist recalled the day that Tyson lost the record of 37 wins and zero losses that he held until February 11, 1990. That day, the athlete unexpectedly lost to James Buster Douglas, who was funny and kept the titles of of the WBA, WBC and IBF after knocking out Iron Mike in the tenth round.
According to a recent testimony from Brown, the night before said confrontation was one of total insanity.
In a documentary broadcast on the channel A&E, the singer, went off the deep end and revealed, “We used to do crazy things. There were times when we partied very, very hard, and one of those was in Tokyo before the fight with Buster Douglas,” he leaked out of the gate.
And in that same vein, he added: “It was two days. There must have been two dozen girls in the room with me and Mike… And we partied. I was trying to tell him to get some sleep,” he recalled of that reel that ended hours later with Tyson’s first loss.
“Eventually he slept in there for a bit!” Brown joked of his friend’s loss. “Don’t put that part please, he’s going to kill me,” he later begged the journalist in size mode.
Mike Tyson’s confessions
It is worth mentioning that Mike Tyson himself in his autobiography revealed that his preparation for the fight with Buster Douglas was deplorable.
“I didn’t want to fight; all I was interested in back then was partying and having sex with women. I didn’t see Douglas as much of a challenge. I didn’t even bother to watch any of his fights on video. I had easily beaten everyone who had knocked him out, ”he wrote in the aforementioned letter.
“In addition to having sex with the maids, I was seeing this young Japanese girl that I had sex with the last time I was in Japan. Robin (his wife of his) would go shopping and I would go down to the back of the hotel where this young lady had a room… So that was my training for Douglas, ”the boxer admitted.
