If someone is asked to sum up the 48-year-old’s career, that person is likely to talk about Under Listening, one of the most listened to podcasts in Canada. Or even one of his one-man shows that made the man always in black travel all over the globe.
If this person is nostalgic, they may mention one of their many shows broadcast on Musique+.
But on the official website of Kapuskasing Regional Cultural Recreation Center in Ontario, where Ward will be performing on October 7, none of these achievements noted above are mentioned.
“He is the author of the number Ode to the ordinary woman for comedian Patrick Huard. In 1996, he collaborated in the writing of Peter MacLeod’s first solo show: The world according to MacLeod and written for The Big Mouths at CKMF-FM 94.3. In 1999 and 2000, he also participated in the writing of the texts of Les Mecs comiques.
Phew.
Obviously, this strangely old-fashioned choice of credits made the main interested party react.
“Hahaha, the bio they wrote for my show in Kapuskasing. WTF?”
Indeed, WTF?
Looks like the bio was written by someone who fell asleep for a long nap in 2000 and just woke up.
All these credits even date from before Testosterone.
