According to the forecast by Geosphere Austria on Sunday, the risk of showers will increase again. As early as Thursday, a fault zone from the west will cause the first cooling, while maximum values of up to 18 degrees plus are expected for Tuesday.
It should already be 16 degrees on Montag in the north and east for a few hours, light rain or snowfall is to be expected in places, but the snowfall line will soon be over 1,000 meters above sea level. Then increasingly sunny weather prevails, only high veil clouds cloud it. In the north and east it is again more lively, in exposed locations again strong westerly winds can be expected, otherwise it is mostly weak. In the west and south, the sunny weather prevails right at the beginning of the day. The early temperatures between minus three and plus six degrees will be replaced by values between nine and 16 degrees over the course of the day.
Am Mardi Gras sunny and very mild February weather is forecast again, especially in the west, in the eastern half and in the far north thin, loose cloud fields could cloud the predominantly sunny weather character for a short time. The wind initially blows quite briskly from the west in the eastern lowlands, in the Danube region and on the eastern edge of the Alps, but generally decreases in the evening. Depending on the wind and cloudiness, early temperatures range from minus three to plus nine degrees and usually rise to ten to 18 degrees.

However, with the turn of the high-level current to the southwest over the course of the day, some high and medium-high cloud fields are also brought to Austria, especially in the western half, these cloud the sunlight noticeably, the wind usually blows only weakly and after minus four to plus four degrees in the morning, daily maximum temperatures of nine to 16 degrees.
Am Thursday a fault zone in the west brings dense clouds and some rain, the snow line is around 1,400 meters above sea level. With the south-westerly high-level current, high and medium-high cloud fields are moving through in the other regions, foehn effects also bring longer sunny periods at times, while high fog fields can also persist over the lowlands in the north and east. The wind will be weak to moderate from southeast to west and after early temperatures of minus three to plus six degrees, the maximum values will be between six and 13 degrees, depending on the sun.
Am Freitag the next cold front is expected to approach from the north. Fields of fog and high fog over the lowlands are replaced by cloud fields during the day, but at times the sun shines everywhere. On the other hand, the risk of showers increases over the course of the day, but the south should remain weather-favoured. The wind will be weak to moderate from southeast to west and after minus three to plus five degrees in the morning hours there will still be daily maximum temperatures of seven to twelve degrees.
