In Russia, it started the maneuver military “Vostok-2022”.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry statement, soldiers and military observers from 14 countries, including Russia, China, India and Azerbaijanparticipate in the Vostok-2022 maneuver.
More than 5,000 weapons and military equipment are involved in the military exercise, including more than 50 thousand soldiers and 140 planes and 60 warships that is carried out in 7 polygons of Russia and in the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan (East Sea).
The maneuver that focuses on the objectives of maintain peace and ensure military security in the eastern region of the country, it is carried out under the direction of the Russian General Staff.
The maneuver will continue until September 7.
