The fans are excited and many even dream of getting the 16th star or the first international title for the ‘ambassador’ team. However, now a problem that happened 10 years ago has been reborn.

It turns out that in 2013 Millonarios had the presence of the player Jorge Perlaza, champion in 2012 led by Hernán Torres and who scored a goal in the South American semifinal of that same year before tiger.

The footballer suffered a delicate injury in 2013, which permanently took him away from the courts, so the team decided to terminate his contract in 2014.

However, the footballer decided to take the case to court and, despite the fact that in December 2017 the Eleventh Labor Court of the Bogotá Circuit acquitted Millionaires for this casethe player considered the decision unfair and went to the highest court, which has now agreed with him.

In the last few hours it was announced that the Supreme Court of Justice notified Millionaires that they must “pay for Jorge Isaacs Perlaza Aguiño the comprehensive salary not received in a monthly amount of 25,000,000 pesos as of December 16, 2017 and until the date of effective reimbursement”, explained the sentence.

That is to say, a total of 1,600,000,000 pesos and taking into account that the amount does not include the player’s social security. Besides, the team’s directives must reinstate him to the squad for the next few weeks.

Although Millionaires has the resources to pay for it, since he received almost two million dollars for their participation in the Copa Libertadores until the third phase prior to groups and with the victory of the Sudamericana, it was an expense that surely was not within the annual budget of the institution.

For now The team has not ruled on the matter.
