MINI Aceman: electric crossover spotted and hits the market in 2024

The car MINI Aceman is under development by the brand and should be launched next year. In principle, it is a electric crossoverwhich already had some details revealed through a concept in July 2022. This time, some photos of it even emerged, still in a camouflaged version.

For those who don’t know, the company has plans to migrate its entire portfolio to electric models by 2030 and this new model will be part of that initiative. Furthermore, Oliver Zipse, who is CEO of the BMW Group, stated that the model is already ready during the presentation of the company’s financial data in the last quarter.

As for the Aceman, the model should be just over 4 meters long and will be produced in China. In this first moment, production is the responsibility of a partnership between the BMW Group it’s at Great Wall Motors and in 2026 it will also be done in Oxford.

It will hit the market in two versions: one called “E” which has a 184 hp electric motor and a 40.7 kWh battery, while the other will be called “SE” and will be powered by a 218 hp engine with a 54.2 kWh component. The latter should be capable of delivering a range of 400 km.

Inside, the MINI Aceman must be equipped with a 9.4-inch circular OLED screen on its dashboard, which will be responsible for showing all the car’s operational information, something similar to what is seen in the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman.

The camouflage ended up hiding several details relating to the car’s design, but we can now get a brief idea of ​​its shape. As stated by Zipse, the model should make its official debut in April 2024. Data regarding possible prices have not yet been revealed.
