“Do not punish people who work, but motivate them. For me, it seems unthinkable that someone who has worked all his life has the same pension as someone who has never worked.“, explains the chairman of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo’s party.
At the heart of the negotiations that will be on the table on Saturday, the minimum pension. For Egbert Lachaert, it’s clear: the pension at 1,500 euros is okay for the Open VLD, but for people who have worked for a minimum of 20 years. The Socialists were counting more on 10 years.
Take part-time into account
