The Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Firas Abyad, confirmed that he had taken a decision to relieve the Acting Director General of the Ministry, Fadi Senan, from his duties, as a result of the accumulation of errors that occurred in the last period.
Al-Abyad told “Lebanon 24”: “I took this decision following a number of violations and abuses,” stressing that the important thing is that the ministry continues to serve citizens.
Al-Jadeed TV had reported that a dispute had occurred between the Minister of Health, Firas Abyad, and the Acting Director General of the Ministry of Health, Fadi Senan, following Senan gave an exclusive interview to Al-Jadeed.
The information added that Al-Abyad decided to dismiss Senan from his post.
