ABU DHABI, 3rd June, 2018 (WAM) — His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended a reception hosted yesterday evening by Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the country, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.
The ceremony, which was held at the Cunard Hotel, Etihad Towers Abu Dhabi, was also attended by Aisha Ibrahim bin Suwaidan Al Suwaidi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of officials and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the country, and a group of Italians residing in the UAE.
In a speech on this occasion, the Italian ambassador praised the bilateral relations between his country and the UAE, which are witnessing continuous development and growth in all fields, noting that the UAE is Italy’s most important trading partner in the Middle East.
