Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Crackdown on Violations in Winter Camps in Qatar

After the start of winter camps in different parts of Qatar, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change activated the inspection. The ministry informed that action has been taken once morest 13 camps that violated the law.

The action was taken in cases where the original owners of the camps rented them out to others. The tests were carried out in collaboration with Lakhvia and the Department of Environmental Protection. The ministry also said that monitoring will continue to be vigorous to ensure compliance with the prescribed conditions for the camps.

The owners of the camps advertised the lease through social media. On the basis of this investigation, action was taken and the camps were removed. In such cases tents, cabins and other camping equipment will be confiscated without prior notice. Officials said that most of the campers follow the relevant rules and regulations.
