Uniformed officers from the Durán district went on alert from ECU911 to the hospital where doctors told them that three collaborators from the pharmacy area were found stealing medicine.

Uniformed members of the National Police indicated that the medications were found under the seats of a double cabin truck, and in the verification of the health personnel involved they were unable to justify the reason for taking out that medicine, so the arrest was made.

Agents identified them as Ronny TS, who is listed as a pharmaceutical chemist; Bryan PC, who was a pharmacy assistant; and Mario BM, an operating room graduate.

The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) condemned the theft of these medications and indicated that it made a complaint to the competent authorities to clarify this fact and that those responsible be punished. (YO)
