TODAY is the last day of the 2024 THR Post service. After the Post is closed, the Ministry of Manpower together with employment agencies will follow up on incoming THR complaints.
“Of course, after we close for a week or H+7, we will coordinate with the provincial and district/city employment agencies to carry out follow-up on resolving the complaint,” said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower, Anwar Sanusi, after attending the Halal Bihalal event at the Ministry of Manpower Office , Jakarta, Tuesday (16/4).
As of April 14 2024, the Ministry of Manpower has received 1,475 reports related to THR, with the number of companies reporting complaints being 930 companies.
Anwar Sanusi stated that since before Eid al-Zfitri, his party had started following up on incoming THR complaints. Various complaints received consisted of THR not being paid, THR being paid not according to the provisions, and THR being paid late.
“The reports are various, there are THR not being given, maybe in installments, and other things that are basically not fulfilled before H-7,” he explained.
He also ensured that his party would continue to monitor these complaints, because THR is the right of workers/laborers.
“So we hope that because THR is a worker’s right, of course it must be fulfilled, because it is the company’s obligation to provide it,” he concluded. (Z-10)
