The Democratic Party’s special prosecution law for Mrs. Kim is concerned with the Deutsche Motors stock price manipulation case and allegations of forgery of academic background.
The Democratic Party insisted that the investigation was insufficient even though evidence of Kim Kun-hee’s direct involvement in Deutsche Motors stock manipulation was revealed in the transcripts released at the trial.
He also emphasized that the police dismissed the charges even though Mrs. Kim herself admitted to inflating her career, and that the standard of law was unfair.
At the same time, the Democratic Party filed a accusation against President Yoon Seok-yeol, who denied the allegations against Mrs.

I objected to the so-called ‘dual special prosecution’ claim that the special prosecution against CEO Lee Jae-myung and Mrs. Kim Gun-hee should be conducted at the same time.

Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon also dismissed the opposition’s reaction to the summons of Representative Lee Jae-myung, saying, “This is not a war, but a criminal investigation.”
