13,074 of them were declared symptomatic, 2,418 asymptomatic, and 4,908 states were not reported.

Besides, the number of patients in the active stage of the disease fell again, from 98,421 to 91,717.

According to official figuresthe variation of cases at the national level was -18% in seven days and -21% in two weeks.

According to the digital balance, 15 regions have decreased their cases in the last week and 11 to 14 days.

Like yesterday, the only area in Chile that registers an increase in cases compared to previous days is Ñuble.

“Of the 20,400 new cases, 47% are diagnosed by antigen tests, 34% originate from Active Case Search (BAC) and 16% of those notified are asymptomatic,” they detailed in a statement.

If the incidence rates of active cases per 100,000 inhabitants are observed, it can be concluded that the situation continues to be overwhelmed from north to south.

However, today there is no region above the threshold of a thousand cases and all are below the barrier of 900, a drop compared to previous days.

Today they led the table Los Ríos (883.6), Bío Bío (856.3) and Ñuble (837.6).
