Miss France 2024 General Knowledge Test Results: The Toughest Yet!

2023-11-28 12:19:07

With a general average “around 30 out of 60”, the Miss France 2024 promotion recorded the lowest results in the history of the competition. But the exam prepared by Cindy Fabre was particularly difficult.

The winners of the general culture prize of Miss France had accustomed us to dizzying scores ranging from 17 to 19.5 out of 20 in recent years. This knowledge test so dear to Sylvie Tellier was put in place not to sanction the candidates but to encourage them to take an interest in the widest possible field of knowledge. For the organizers of the competition, it is a question of ensuring that the future Miss France will be able to look good in front of the media in particular.

Since the departure of the former director of the Miss France competition, it is Cindy Fabre who has taken up the torch this year. The one who had been crowned Miss France 2005 concocted with her teams a particularly tough general knowledge test with a majority of open answers, instead of the multiple choice questions, and a dictation counting for 1/12th of the overall mark. Result: a general average which flirts with the red line and a winner (Adeline Vetter, Miss Normandy) who must be satisfied with only 14.2 out of 20.

Fairly good mention for the results of the general knowledge test for Miss France 2024

The intellectual and cultural level of the 30 candidates for Miss France 2024 has nothing to envy of that of their predecessors as the difficulty of the general knowledge test was less in previous years. For comparison, more than 50,000 of you have attempted this knowledge exam in more favorable conditions (with suggested answers to each question) and without dictation. The general average of Internet users is 12 out of 20 this year compared to 14/20 in 2022.

The most difficult questions? The number of starred restaurants in Côte-d’Or in 2023 was only known by 22% of you. In mathematics, only 19% found the exact price of the chouquette in a trick exercise and 32% completed the numerical sequence. In nature and ecology, only 27% of you were able to find the estimated percentage of fresh water on Earth. In French, although you all certainly love to eat them, on the other hand writing the word waffle was only within the reach of 36% of participants.
