Mission to Mars to support future research and development
American space companies Impulse Space and Relativity Space announced a joint mission to Mars To deliver what is believed to be the world’s first payload to a surface red planet.
The vehicle carries its own payload designed to support research and development for future missions.

Scheduled to be launched in 2024, Cape Canaveral, Florida.
“One of the most challenging aspects of the Mars ascent (landing phase) involves an antenna encasing the probe in order to survive entering Mars,” said Tom Mueller, founder and CEO of Impulse Space.
He added, “This historic mission will be one of many to come.”
