Mississippi Burning – film 1988

a huge film, touching a very delicate subject racism and segregation, daring to make a film like that at the time, while the brainless of the kkk was still in place in the United States must have been very heavy on the role of the actors and of all those who touched the film closely. a poignant, touching film, which stirs up pro or anti-racist hatred, films as we see more of them, I saw this film the first time I was 14 or 15 years old I was moved by the story and the hatred that humans can have towards others just for a skin color, now at 42 years old when I watch it, I also think to myself, that the guys who made this film, believed strong in the changes that needed to be made to stop segregation in their country. the main actors are impeccable, the story exudes racial hatred at every street corner, by putting yourself in the shoes of a black man, you can feel the hell they lived, but what we feel the least in these films that I’m talking about segregation and the kkk, it’s the fear that black communities live in every day, the fear of being kidnapped by these brainless people and then being tortured and killed just for a skin color.
