In a message through his social networks, the electoral councilor referred to the measure of reduce leasing expense, since he pointed out that what the INE rents are 800 locales in which are the modules so that citizens they process your voter credential.

They detailed that only for wages and salaries the savings would be 718.8 mdp, for operating expenses the amount would be 384.5 million pesos and the resources of the trusts would be 868.7 mdp.

The Secretary of the Interior, Adam Augusto López, said that this Thursday they would send the austerity plan to the INE, in a “respectful manner”, and announced that in the analysis made by the Public Function and the Treasury it is determined that there is no margin in the budget to grant additional resources, so it would discard the request of the electoral body.

“What this working group has been analyzing is that there is no margin in the budget that allows to allocate additional amounts to a budget expansion of an autonomous body,” he said at the conference.
