Protection works continue in Soyapango, through the National Mitigation Plan carried out by crews from the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) to guarantee the well-being of Salvadorans in this area of the country.
The places intervened by the MOP are: the Jardines del Bulevar urbanization, where they carry out work to eliminate a gully and reconstruct the rainwater and wastewater drainage system.
The Santa Eduviges neighborhood where they also carry out the elimination of a gully, with the intervention of 4,181 square meters. In this way, the Government of the Republic is reducing the risks of flooding and subsidence that can be caused by soil erosion, actions with which they are safeguarding hundreds of lives.
