MLS: Atlanta player suspended for homophobic remarks

Major League Soccer (MLS) suspended Atlanta United midfielder Santiago Sosa for three games on Saturday for allegedly making homophobic remarks.

The Garber Circuit has also issued a fine, the amount of which has not been disclosed, to Santiago, the alleged facts of which occurred during the game once morest the New England Revolution on October 1.

Sosa will also have to participate in education sessions related to the LGBTQ+ community.
