Vienna – As of October 1st there will be further changes to the “electronic parking permit”: After cell phone parking was already abolished in Vorarlberg, Salzburg and Burgenland and replaced by EasyPark, the federal states of Carinthia, Styria, Upper and Lower Austria and Tyrol are now following suit. The new method for purchasing a parking ticket digitally will then apply throughout the country – with the exception of Vienna – as stated in a release from the responsible advertising agency.
