MODENA, as a global consumer electronics company, is fully committed to supporting Government programs, one of which is encouraging the development of domestic industry.

This support has been demonstrated since last year by shifting production activities for its flagship products domestically.

Modena Vice President Operations & Corporate Affairs Harry Afryandi explained, “Modena is very serious about encouraging the development of domestic industry. This can be seen from Modena’s success, through its subsidiary PT Modena Forma Indonesia developing a new production line for stove products which has been proven to have been achieved “The SNI for this product category was last February. Previously, in 2023, the company had also done the same thing for the water dispenser category.”

“Modena’s commitment to developing domestic industry does not stop there, in the future, production of other products will also be transferred to the country in stages, such as Chest Freezers, Washing Machines and Refrigerators. “All these efforts are made to support the government’s policy of industrial localization,” added Harry.

Transferring production to the country does not make Modena reduce the quality of its products. In order to maintain product and service quality, apart from the SNI certificate, Modena has also succeeded in obtaining the ISO 9001:2015 certificate since 2009. This was done solely to provide the best service to Modena consumers and the community in general.

In addition to the best service for consumers and society, Modena emphasizes the importance of sustainability not only as a corporate value, but also as a principle that is reflected in every aspect of the business, starting from sustainable innovation, energy efficient products, supply chains, to after-sales service through trade programs in.

Modena also highly values local human resources as evidenced by the use of 100% local skilled labor. This commitment is also strengthened by ongoing training to continue to meet technological changes that continue to develop according to the times.

The use of local labor is also Modena’s first step in using and increasing local resources which will ultimately increase the value of Domestic Component Level (TKDN) content.

“With the steps that have been taken, we hope to create more jobs, encourage technological progress, and make a greater contribution to the development of local industry and human resources. Hopefully this step will be a driving force for the realization of a strong and competitive industry in Indonesia,” concluded Harry. (RO/Z-1)
