Mohamed Salah is staying in Liverpool
The Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, confirmed that he will remain with his club, Liverpool, until the end of his contract next season, without saying about the renewal of his contract, which expires in June 2023.
In an open press conference dedicated to the Champions League final, which brings together Liverpool with Real Madrid in Paris next Saturday, Mohamed Salah confirmed that he is focused on the final match, in which he will search for his second title with Liverpool in the Champions League in his third final, after winning the 2019 title. And losing the title in 2018 against Real Madrid.
“I don’t want to talk about (renewing) the contract,” Salah said. “I will definitely stay here next season, it’s about the team.”
Salah, who won the Premier League top scorer for the third time, added: “I don’t want to be selfish, it’s about the team at the moment, it’s a very important week for us, I want to see the cup in the hands of a Hindu (Jordan Henderson, captain).”
