ABU DHABI, 6th August / WAM / The World Arabian Horse Organization (WAHO) has chosen His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, as an advisory member of the Executive Committee of the organization.
The choice of Al-Harbi as the first Emirati in this position came after the members of the Executive Committee voted to occupy this position in the organization in order to present programs, projects, ideas and initiatives to enrich the registration and documentation of Arabian horses and the directions of the Executive Committee related to the development of work.
On this occasion, Al-Harbi extended his sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, for his unlimited support for breeders and owners of Arabian horses around the world in order to preserve its strains.
He also thanked Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, for his continuous follow-up and support.
Al-Harbi said: “This position is a new assignment to continue and move forward with work to raise the name of the UAE in all international forums, especially in the field of Arabian horses.
Al-Harbi explained that he will work with the Executive Committee to develop a comprehensive strategy in cooperation with member states in the documentation and registration of Arabian horses and to activate their role electronically, noting that the UAE is one of the best countries in the world in registering and documenting Arabian horses to preserve their breeds.
