Astonishing story told by SudInfo this Friday: last night, around midnight, a road accident took place in Molenbeek. It involved Deputy Alderman Françoise Schepmans. In her little Kia, she hit a Maserati that was parked along the street. According to an anonymous witness quoted by SudInfo (the owner of the stamped Maserati), the alderman would have tried to flee and he had to run after, barefoot. He claims he had to open the door and someone else pulled the keys out of the ignition to get her out of the car. He states that she was “sous influence”, what “said and did anything”.

Françoise Schepmans defends herself: “I didn’t try to hit and run, I just went to park further away”, she tells SudInfo. She specifies that she was returning from a friend’s house, and that the police did not blow her away because “she had a normal attitude”. The police did not draw up a report.
