Momentum 4 Wireless: leak reveals price and look of Sennheiser’s new headphones

2

The launch of Sennheiser’s brand new high-end headphones seems imminent. A Canadian retailer mistakenly published the Momentum 4 Wireless data sheet, which allowed us to learn a little more about its design and launch price.

The teaser produced by Sennheiser a few months ago on its brand new flagship, the Momentum 4 Wireless, is becoming more specific. And if the secret is well kept by the German manufacturer, a leak on the site of the Canadian retailer Canada Computers unfortunately broke the suspense by revealing a very partial technical sheet, photos of the product and its selling price.

The first visuals suggest a fairly drastic change in design, breaking with previous Momentums, Sennheiser seeming to opt for something more sober. We also note that, like some other recent models of the competition (the WH-1000XM5 where the Headphones 700), the Momentum 4 Wireless will overcome the possibility of folding its headband perfectly, which is a slight disappointment.

As for the features and other specificities of the headset, this leak unfortunately does not reveal much, except perhaps support for the aptX Adaptive codec. Remember that the manufacturer had also mentioned a drastic gain in autonomy during a small teaser a few months ago: the headphones would be able to offer up to 60 hours of use, compared to 17 hours for the previous model.

According to the merchant site, the helmet would be launched at 449.95 Canadian dollars, or around 341 €. It is therefore very likely that this new edition of the Momentum helmet will be 50 € cheaper than the previous version, which was launched at 399 €.
