Momina Iqbal termed social media as the cradle of lies

Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has given a message to fans not to believe whatever they see on social media because social media is very different from real life.

Recently, Momina Iqbal participated in a web channel show, a clip of which has become an adornment of social media. In this video, the actress is talking about the negative impact of social media on people’s lives.

Momina Iqbal said that ‘a few days ago I was talking to my friend that who are these people who get up in the morning, get ready, go to restaurants and take pictures, we don’t get up in the morning’.

The actress said that ‘on my day off I stay in bed, I don’t feel like getting up, so I want to tell everyone that social media is not what you all see, I also want to see my photos. There’s been a lot of messages coming in, sometimes it’s like I took a picture a week or two ago and I post it on Instagram any day, who knows what’s going on’.

Momina Iqbal added, ‘Social media is not what we think, it is not the truth at all, people who are watching us sitting in their homes take it negatively, people are saying. How fun their lives are.

The actress said that ‘people are enjoying life, but what we are exaggerating on social media is nothing like that’.
