French club Monaco announced today, Wednesday, the signing of Chelsea defender, French Malang Sar.
“We are pleased to announce that the 23-year-old defender has been loaned from Chelsea for one season, with an option to buy,” Monaco said in a statement.
In turn, Sarr expressed his happiness to return to play in the French League, and said: “I started my career in the French League, and I am very happy to return to it and play with Monaco. I would like to thank the club for its trust.”
It is noteworthy that Sarr participated with Chelsea in 21 games in all competitions last season, and was previously crowned with the “Blues” with titles, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
