Nostalgic for old versions of Pokémon? Monster Crown, a game that comes very close to it, is released today on new platforms.
Only available on Nintendo Switch, Monster Crown is now playable on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. To describe the game to yourself, all you have to do is imagine Pokémon Red (or Blue). The graphics, the game mechanics… it’s very similar. In Monster Crown, you evolve on Crown Island, which you must protect from an evil young girl.
You will then make a pact with monsters, raise them and merge them to create your own species. Fight your enemies with your teams and try to make the right decisions to save your island. Even though Monster Crown looks suspiciously like Pokemon, the idea of merging monsters is interesting. Also, all the decisions you make will have an impact and will influence the end of the game. Give it a try!
