Montana is the first US state to completely ban the Tiktok social media app. Republican governor Greg Gianforte signed the law following it passed Congress. “In order to protect the personal and private information of the people of Montana from the Chinese Communist Party, I have banned Tiktok in Montana,” Gianforte tweeted.
