MontanaBlack has spoken. On Twitch, the longtime CoD fan put together a tier list with all “Call of Duty” parts – here is his official rating.

Buxtehude – Tier lists are a clear method to evaluate a wide variety of things. With years of experience in the Call of Duty business, MontanaBlack feels able to craft a rating that eclipses all other lists. The streamer from Buxtehude creates his CoD tier list on Twitch, which makes Twitter users lose their minds.

MontanaBlack: This is the tier list from the longtime CoD fan

What happened? On March 30th, MontanaBlack was out for a riot. On Twitch, he compiled a rating of the best and worst parts of Call of Duty. It was certainly clear to him that the 35-year-old Twitch streamer would stir up spirits. He shared his final result on Twitter with the words “All other ratings are irrelevant“ and receives all sorts of reactions from approving, but also uncomprehending fans.

This is his rating: The multiplayer mode of the individual games was particularly important to the streamer. For many fans of the series, the feeling you have in online battles against other players is a decisive criterion for the success of the games. For MontanaBlack, no CoD comes close to Black Ops 2 – the game ends up in the S-Tier “No. 1 game”. Here you can see MontanaBlack’s official CoD rating.

It is closely followed by Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops 1 and Modern Warfare 2, which he places in the “Best CoD” category. Ghosts, Modern Warfare 2019 and Black Ops 4 are still good parts of the CoD series for MontanaBlack.

These are the losers of his rating: Modern Warfare (2007) and Black Ops 3 are still playable, but the rankings are already hurting the first fans. Call of Duty WWII calls MontanaBlack “garbage” and Infinite Warfare is the absolute bottom.

Here’s how MontanaBlack works on Twitch

MontanaBlack is currently doing very well again on Twitch. The streamer is busy streaming and has delighted an average of 23,000 fans in the last 14 days (as of March 31, 2023). With several case openings in CS:GO and the usual reactions, he ends up in second place behind Papaplatte. However, his streamer colleague only recently showed an event stream that brought him many viewers.

“Boots on the ground” is a credo for the retired Twitch streamer that Activision’s games should never have put aside. Double jumps and wall runs are too much for most CoD fans. MontanaBlack has not played some games himself, so the streamer does not presume to give a rating.

Fans react to MontanaBlack’s CoD rating – ‘The retirees couldn’t handle the jetpack’

Fans counter: As is the case with opinions, they also differ when it comes to the rating of MontanaBlack. With a number of pensioner sayings that the streamer from Buxtehude has to listen to regularly on Twitch, the fans try to discredit his opinion. Especially when categorizing Black Ops 3, his viewers complain: “Alzheimer kicks in“.

  • BO3 is bottomless, but typical pensioners. The pensioners couldn’t cope with the jetpack‘ writes Kapkan567
  • BO3 under Ghosts and MW 2019 is a shame“, complains 7LINUS_
  • Black Ops 3 to ‘go like this’. This is the most godless tier list I’ve ever seen“, complains apf3l_

Many young MontanaBlack fans seem to have liked the movement options in recent CoD games. But MontanaBlack is certain that the games he played in his 20s were the best. It’s no secret that the streamer is currently enjoying nostalgic enthusiasm – with MontanaBlack’s revived Real Life Stories he has probably picked up some fans who would create a similar tier list.
