After the match, the account of the Mexican Monterrey team on the “X” platform published the word “siuu” regarding the celebration of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the traditional rival of the Argentine captain of Inter Miami.
Minutes after the tweet was published, the club’s account deleted it.
The match witnessed Lionel Messi participating with Inter Miami from the beginning, mainly with his team, until the end of the match.
Inter Miami will play against Sporting Kansas, next Sunday, in the eighth round of the American Premier League soccer competition.
