Montreal: a man falls from the third floor during a search by the police

A man was injured following falling from the third floor of an apartment raided by the SPVM on Friday evening on Crescent Street in Montreal.

The Bureau of Independent Investigations (BEI) launched an investigation into the circumstances of a police intervention by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) on Friday around 6:30 p.m.

While the police were executing a search warrant in an apartment on Crescent Street in Montreal, a man reportedly fell from the floor where the apartment was located. “The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but there is no fear for his life,” said the BEI.
