At least 28 homes were destroyed, as a result of the rains that hit, Wednesday, 28, in the municipalities of Chitato and Xá-Muteba, in Lunda Norte.
According to a statement from the Civil Protection and Fire Service, there were no human casualties.
The data are part of the provisional balance carried out by specialists from the Civil Protection and Fire Service, assigned to the 1st and 2nd levels, in the aforementioned municipal districts, having also recorded the progression of ravines that threaten to engulf the Centrality of Dundo, cut off roads and destroy infrastructure.
According to the statement, the 28 families correspond to 134 citizens who are out in the open and specialists continue to collect more data, since, according to INAMET, weak, moderate and heavy rains are forecast throughout the province.
