The Madagascar swimming championship will be held in Toamasina, from yesterday 12 to 15 April, at a distance of 50 m. More than 300 swimmers compete in it, held in the Piscine olympique du CJST. More than 20 clubs are participating in this 2023 edition.
The competition was designed to prepare and select Malagasy athletes for the Island Games or JIOI 2023, which will be held here in August. In this national competition, our representatives will be selected for the African championships in the “senior” and “junior” categories and the world games.
In addition, Telma Rabejaona Holy Antsa, a Malagasy female athlete who brought the name of Madagascar high in her competition, became the ambassador of the company. Among them is the World Championship, in Budapest, last year 2022.
