Asuncion, IP Agency.- A total of 770 companies in the departments of Guairá and Paraguarí will be visited to guide public employment and training policies, within the framework of the Study on Labor Market Trends (ETML).
The survey is being conducted by the National System for Vocational Training and Capacity Building (Sinafocal) and will be executed by the company Visual Research, which will be responsible for collecting data from small, medium and large companies in each department.
The main objective is to identify labour needs in order to design training and capacity building programmes that promote labour insertion in each area.
390 companies in Guairá and 380 in Paraguarí will be surveyed, for a total of 770 companies, covering all economic sectors. Trade union, business and academic leaders will be interviewed to enrich the results.
The companies visited will receive information that will help them improve their hiring and technological adaptation policies.
It is worth noting that the data collected will serve as a basis for future research and regional development, according to the Sinafocal report.
