According to the Al-Maghrib Bank (BAM), the Moroccan dirham recorded an appreciation of 1.08% against the dollar between November and December 2023.
Furthermore, against the euro, the national currency experienced an increase of 0.16%. The BAM’s Monthly Review of the economic, monetary and financial situation also revealed an increase of 91.2% from one year to the next in the volume of exchanges of currencies against dirhams on the interbank market in November 2023.
The banks’ transactions with customers recorded variations compared to the previous year.
