Morocco. Jumia and the American Zipline want to offer drone delivery

Jumia Technologies recently partnered with drone delivery startup “Zipline” to deliver items to several African countries, including Morocco.

Having products ordered on the internet delivered to your home by drone will soon be possible in Morocco thanks to Zipline and Jumia. The initiative aims to make automated and on-demand deliveries for e-commerce.

Jumia, already present in the Kingdom, and Zipline, the largest instant delivery service provider in the world, have just announced a collaboration in this direction. A pilot program and trials were launched a few months ago in Ghana. This collaboration will integrate Zipline’s automated and on-demand delivery system with Jumia’s current distribution network which includes more than 30 warehouses and more than 3,000 collection points, spread across Jumia’s market in 11 countries.
