11:07 am: France will not let Putin “violate international law”
The Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, reacted on RTL following Moscow’s recognition of the pro-Russian Ukrainian separatist regions. “Following the defense council, we will implement appropriate and targeted sanctions once morest Russian interests,” the minister announced.
“If President Putin were to go further, we reserve the possibility of increasing the sanctions, with our European partners, depending on President Putin’s decisions. We will not let it violate international law,” added Bruno Le Maire.
