The Syndicate of Musical Professions, headed by artist Mostafa Kamel, decided to stop mahraganat singer Omar Kamal from singing.

The syndicate issued a statement containing the decision to suspend the annual permit of singer Omar Kamal until the end of the investigation with him.

Mansour Hindi, head of the work committee, revealed in exclusive statements to Masrawy the reason for the suspension decision, saying: “Omar Kamal violated the decisions of the Syndicate Council not to travel abroad and perform concerts, before obtaining a permit from the Syndicate, and renewing the annual permit for popular singers.

And he continued: “Omar traveled to 5 European and Arab countries without the union’s permission.”

The artist, Mostafa Kamel, recently assumed the position of captain of the musical professions, following the artist, Hani Shaker, announced his resignation from the position.
