The incident occurred on the followingnoon of this Monday at Avenida Perón and Antonena.
A Motomel brand motorcycle, Skua model, which was traveling through Perón, in the direction of Monseñor de Andrea, was hit by a Volkswagen Bora car, which was trying to cross the avenue from Antonena to Montevideo.
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist, identified as Santiago Nahuel Echave Ardilla, who was wearing his helmet, had to be transferred in a SAME ambulance to the Ramón Santamarina Municipal Hospital, where he was admitted with polytrauma.
“Patient who presents multiple traumatisms, is being studied and therefore under observation in the Medical Emergency Service” reported from the Integrated Health System.
For his part, the driver of the car, named Walter Carabajal, was unharmed.
The 2nd Police Station intervened in the accident.
