A 32-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in Bridgeport on Monday evening after crashing his motorcycle into a tree in the city’s residential neighborhood. Investigators determined that the operator was heading south on Briarwood Avenue when his vehicle—identified as a 2021 blue Hawk Z7185 motorcycle—drifted toward the right side of the roadway.
The motorcycle scraped against a curb before directly striking a tree. Several callers reached out to emergency dispatchers after seeing the operator on the ground and unresponsive. Emergency medical personnel arrived promptly at the scene and transported the injured man to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where medical staff listed him in critical condition.
