The attorney general said the animal was communal and the man ran over it following driving too fast.
A citizen, whose age was not specified, will be investigated by the Táchira State Prosecutor’s Office 20, following he ended up running over a cat.
The man was driving a motorcycle speeding at the time of the event, reported Tarek William Saab, Attorney General of the Republic.
The animal was communal and suffered instant death upon impact, according to Saab. Aemás added that the subject intentionally ran over the animal.
The Public Ministry (MP) will investigate the case and will be in charge of prosecuting the crimes of harm and mistreatment of a pet.
