Shedding Proprietary Limits for Wear OS 6
Motorola is taking a direct swing at established flagship wearables by ditching the lightweight, proprietary operating systems used in its earlier devices. The new Moto Watch Ultra runs Wear OS 6, unlocking direct access to the Google Play Store, Google Maps, YouTube Music, and Google Wallet for contactless payments.
Under the hood, the hardware relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
