Motorola has officially announced the Signature 27, a new flagship smartphone coming to the United States with a price tag of $1,599.99. The device will be sold unlocked and will launch on November 26, with pre-orders beginning on November 19. It will be available through Motorola’s website, Amazon, and Best Buy.
The main draw of the Signature 27 is its extensive spec sheet, which Motorola designed to create the “ultimate Android phone.” It features a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo Tandem display capable of a peak brightness of 12,000 nits. For comparison, Google states a clear daytime sky is around 8,000 nits. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and includes 12GB of RAM. Its camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x Super Zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. It is also equipped with a 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery.
Bundle Includes Moto Watch Ultra and Motocare
For a limited time, Motorola is offering a special bundle for customers who purchase the Signature 27 directly from its website. This bundle includes the new moto watch ultra and one free year of Motocare, Motorola’s care plan. The moto watch ultra, which can make calls and send texts independently, has a standalone price of $349.99. This exclusive offer is not available at Amazon or Best Buy, and Motorola has not specified when the limited-time bundle will end.
Phone Has Display and Software Upgrades
The Signature 27 incorporates several advanced technologies. It features a unique display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. The software is highlighted for its AI capabilities, including Google’s Gemini Intelligence features like Rambler and Sign to Text (ASL), and Motorola’s own Qira system for connecting with other Motorola and Lenovo devices. In terms of durability, the phone has Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 protection and is IP68/IP69 dust and water resistant, with MIL-STD-810H compliance. Motorola promises seven years of OS upgrades and security updates for the device.
Phone Opens for Pre-Orders on November 19
The Motorola Signature 27 will be available in two colorways: Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive. While the phone is priced at $1,599.99—a figure noted to be $450 more than the Galaxy S26 Ultra—the company claims its premium specifications justify the cost. Pre-orders for the device open on November 19, 2026, with general availability starting November 26, 2026.
