Motorola is known for offering great smartphones at affordable prices, and we can even confirm this with the launch of the original Moto G many years ago. If you are a fan of the Moto G line, know that Motorola is about to launch two new models next week: the Moto G54 5G and the Moto G84 5G.
A Motorola officially revealed that the Moto G84 5G will be released on September 1, 2023, while the Moto G54 5G will be released on September 6, 2023. These releases will be in Indiabut they usually happen either simultaneously with Brazil or in our land, they arrive a few weeks later.

Both models will be launched in India on these dates, but we are hoping that the Moto G54 and G84 will also be launched in Brazil.

Starting with the Moto G54 5G, Motorola claims that it will be the first smartphone in its category to offer a combination of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, in addition to the possibility of expansion via microSD of up to 1 TB. This model also features a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor (which is essentially a renaming of the Dimensity 930).
O Moto G54 5G has a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 120Hz refresh rate. Other confirmed specs include a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, a 6,000mAh batteryTurboPower 30 fast charging (probably 30W), an in-box 33W charger, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The camera suite includes a 50 MP main camera with OIS and f/1 aperture.8, one 8 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 118° field of view, in addition to a 16 MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The phone will ship with Android 13 out of the box, though Motorola is only promising one update to Android 14 and three years of security updates. The model will be available in Mint Green, Midnight Blue and Pearl Blue colors, although those names may change when it launches in the United States.

The Moto G84 5G has yet to be spotted at the FCC, but it packs a processor Snapdragon 695. This model has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storagebut does not support expansion via microSD.

Other confirmed specs include a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, a 5,000mAh battery33W fast charging with an included charger, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The camera suite includes a 50 MP main camera with OIS, f/1.88 aperture and 1/1.5 inch sensor, a 8 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 118° field of view, in addition to a 16 MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture.
Just like the Moto G54 5G, the phone will launch with Android 13 out of the box, with the promise of an update to Android 14 and three years of security updates. The model will be available in Marshmallow Blue, Midnight Blue and Viva Magenta.
